Job Description: Firefighter/EMT

Salary Information: $10.10/hr 24/48 shift schedule. 56 hour average work week. 2.5% annual longevity pay raises.

Job Requirements

Age: 18

US Citizen: Required

High School Grad/GED: Required

Valid FLORIDA State Driver’s License: Required

Ability to Read/Speak English: Required

Vision: Candidates must successfully pass the district’s NFPA 1582 pre-employment physical.

Prior Experience:
Preferred

Necessary Certifications:

• State of Florida Firefighter 2 (minimum standards)
• State of Florida Emergency Medical Technician

**Hiring preference to individuals with Florida paramedic certification**Schooling Prior & Post Hiring:
Once hired candidates must complete a 40 hour orientation training period.
