Rio Hondo College currently has 37 cadets in the Wildland Fire Academy (February 2007). We will be offering another Wildland Fire Academy in late spring and are looking for people to attend. If you are successful, you can work on our TYPE II Handcrew for the 2007 Fire Season or you may be hired to work on an engine or other Firefighter positions with the
