Firefighter/Paramedic

  • Full Time $81,804-$104,400 Annually
  • Educational Incentive Pay: Up to $5,200
  • Tuition Reimbursement: $2,000/year
  • Bilingual Pay: $300/month
  • 5.75% Salary Increase in 2024

Minimum Requirements by Time of Employment:

  • California Firefighter 1 Certification or California State Accredited Fire Academy Certification
  • Current AHA or American Red Cross CPR card
  • State of California EMT-P License or National Registry EMT-P Certificate

*Recruitment is open for candidates CURRENTLY in Paramedic School and Fire Academy*

Applicants currently enrolled in an Accredited Paramedic Program or Fire Academy must submit a letter stating they are in good standing and expected to complete the program. Applicants must possess a California Firefighter 1 Certification and California Paramedic License prior to completion of the Oceanside Fire Academy.
