Job Description Summary	The City of Duncanville Civil Service Commission invites qualified persons to take the examination for firefighter.
Requirements	• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age and shall not have reached their 36th birthday. • Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. • Must be certified as a firefighter by the Texas Commission on Fire Protection OR be certified as a paramedic by the Texas Department of Health. (you can take the test without the certifications but must obtain certification at the time of hire) • Must possess a valid class A or B Texas driver’s license and have a good driving record. • Must be a U.S citizen. • Must be a non-tobacco user • Height and weight in proportion
