Requirements:

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED
• Three years of firefighting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform in the position;
• Possession of a valid NC Class B driver’s license; (IFSAC or ProBoard equivalent are acceptable)
• Possession of an EMT-B credential;
• Certified NC Firefighter Level 2 (IFSAC or ProBoard equivalent are acceptable)
• Certified NC Emergency Vehicle Driver and 21 years of age. (IFSAC or ProBoard equivalent are acceptable)
• Certified NC Driver Operator Pumps or ability to obtain within one year of employment/promotion (IFSAC or ProBoard equivalent are acceptable)
• Certified NC Driver Operator Aerials, or ability to obtain within one year of employment/promotion (IFSAC or ProBoard equivalent are acceptable)
• Certified NC Technical Rescuer VMR or ability to obtain within one year of employment/promotion (IFSAC or ProBoard equivalent are acceptable)
