Requirements:

Must be Nationally Registered EMT Paramedic or EMT Advanced/Basic enrolled in a paramedic school program. (Verification of current enrollment status will be required)
Must be between the ages of 18 and 45 at the time of hire, unless a current participant in the Oklahoma State Fire Pension & Retirement system
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Valid Oklahoma Driver’s license with no citations within the last 3 years required
Must be able to attain reciprocity of EMT license with the Oklahoma State Department of Health upon hire
Must successfully pass Candidate Physical Agility Test, Written Exam and Oral Review Boards
Must successfully pass Fire Chiefs’ Interview
