Fire Tech III – Certified Paramedic – Must have current Ohio Fire Fighter II certificate and be certified Paramedic by the State of Ohio.

After the written examination has been successfully completed, candidates will proceed through the selection process in the following order:

  • Physical Abilities Test to be done in Westerville
  • Oral Board interviewing process
  • Fingerprinting and background checking
  • Physical, drug screen, psychological exam

The top 30 scoring candidates will be asked to participate in the selection process first. Candidates who do not place in the top 30 after the written test, will be held in abeyance until needed.
