Requirements:
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have high school diploma or GED certificate.
Possess a valid Texas class C driver’s license. (Class B exempt preferred or complete within 30 days of hire).
Must pass criminal background check.
Must pass drug screening.
Certification Requirements:
EMS certification with the Texas Department of State Health Services as an EMT.
Certification with the Texas Fire Commission on Fire Protection as a Basic Firefighter.* *If you are in a fire academy or are willing to attend a fire academy you are eligible to apply.
Recommended Certifications:
NIMS – 100, 200, 700, 800
