City of Miami Fire-Rescue (MFR) is a Class 1, all-hazards emergency services agency dedicated to protecting the lives and property of Miami’s residents and visitors. Serving a diverse urban area with high-rise buildings, busy waterways, and world-class events, MFR responds to fires, advanced life support medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, technical rescues, and disasters. With more than 900 highly trained professionals operating out of 16 strategically located fire stations, the department combines innovation, community engagement, and excellence in service to keep Miami safe 24/7.
