Firefighter Job Application

Application Deadline: Friday, September 23, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. (MDT)

The online application and required documents must be submitted to IOS Recruitment no later than 12:00 p.m. (MDT) on 9/23/16 – no refunds for late submissions.

Minimum Requirements*:

  • $125 non-refundable application fee
  • U.S. citizenship or legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Valid driver’s license

*Important Note: these are the minimum threshold requirements for the CO FIREfighter Testing Consortium. Individual departments may hold more stringent requirements. In order to be considered for each agency you must comply with their minimum standards. For example, some agencies require EMT-B and HazMat certifications, however, the timing of the requirement may differ. Please see the department(s) job description for specific information on individual department requirements.

Testing Information:

Eligible candidates must attend one (1) of the four mandatory written examinations outlined below.

  1. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The Potter’s House of Denver, 9495 E. Florida Ave., Denver, CO 80247
  2. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The Potter’s House of Denver, 9495 E. Florida Ave., Denver, CO 80247
  3. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Westminster Public Safety Center, 9110 Yates St., Westminster, CO 80031
  4. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Westminster Public Safety Center, 9110 Yates St., Westminster, CO 80031
