2017 Firefighter and Firefighter Paramedic Testing Process
Requirements:
Current CO/IFSAC/ProBoard Firefighter I;
Current CO or National Registry EMT-Basic or Paramedic;
Current CPR/AED certification;
Current CO/IFSAC/ProBoard Hazardous Materials Ops Certification;
Incident Command System I200, IS-700 (available online);
60 college credit hours;
High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D certificate;
Valid CO driver’s license at time of hire;
Must be at least 18 years of age;
Extensive background evaluation, pre-employment drug screening and physical ability tests are conducted. Subject to post-offer/pre-employment medical examination.
