Requirements:
Education:
Associate of Arts degree or equivalent in fire science, business administration, personnel management or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree in fire science, business administration, personnel management or a related field from an accredited university or college is highly desirable.
Experience:
Two years of full-time experience equivalent to Fire Captain.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Possession of the appropriate Commercial Driver’s License with endorsements, as mandated by the California Commercial Vehicle Code.
Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician.
Certification as a State of California Fire Officer or equivalent, Chief Fire Officer certificate preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to participate in the Lodi Fire Department Physical Fitness Program.
