Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (typically in Firefighting)
PLUS
Experience:
0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Firefighting) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Firefighter
OR
Education & Experience Substitution:
4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Firefighting) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Firefighter
PLUS
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver’s License
Fire Fighter II
Airport Fire Fighter
HAZMAT Operations
Driver/Operator Pumper
ARFF & Mobile Water
Security Clearance is required
Instructor I
Fire Officer I
Fire Inspector I
Fire Officer II
Fire Officer III
Fire Inspector II
Fire Instructor II
HAZMAT Incident Commander
All Certifications at all levels are required to be Pro Board or IFSAC accredited.
